Karma Jade Nickle

Karma Jade Nickle, 19, of Carthage passed away from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Sunday, August 30, 2026. She was born on May 20, 2007 in Greenfield, Indiana to Michael Nickle and Nancy Combs.

Karma Jade was a bright light to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a beautiful soul, full of life, love, and compassion. Her caring heart extended to all animals, especially her beloved cats, Cleo and Figaero.

A 2024 graduate of Knightstown High School, Karma was pursuing her dream of becoming a registered nurse. She was working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Morristown Manor, where her compassionate nature and desire to care for others touched those around her.

Karma found joy in many things, including reading, art, and drawing. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family and the people she loved dearly, especially her little brother, Michael, her best friend, Josha Hampton and her boyfriend, Aron Stuckey.

Karma's warmth, kindness, and loving spirit brought light into the lives of so many. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

She is survived by her parents, Mike Nickle and Nancy Combs; brother, Michael Combs; best friend who was more like a sister, Josha Hampton; papaws, Mike Ferguson and Jeff Combs; and so so many close friends and family she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her mamaw, Amy Lou Combs and grandma, Lucy Nickle.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2026 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5 also at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Guillaume officiating. Burial will follow at River Side Cemetery in Carthage.
