Kathleen "Judy' Strahan

Kathleen “Judy” Strahan, 74, of New Castle passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. She was born on July 25, 1951, in Albany, KY, a daughter of the late Leo E. and Christine (Perdue) Pierce.

Judy loved the Lord and enjoyed attending church. She worked at Goodwill and was known for being loving, funny, and carefree. Judy treasured spending time with her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Strahan; her son, Henry Murphy; sisters, Diane Sexton, Janice Keene, and Ruth Lee; grandchildren, Amanda Murphy, Dustin Murphy, Ashley Miller, and Steven Miller; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Johnny Pierce.
