Kevin Carl Morphew, 62, of Indianapolis passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Golden Living Center in Indianapolis. He was born June 9, 1958 in Danville, Indiana, a son of Carl Lane and Marlene K. (Anderson) Morphew.
He was a graduate of Triton Central High School. Kevin was a self employed auto mechanic and jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing, camping and loved the outdoors.
Survivors include his children, Nathan & Tarah Morphew of Indianapolis; grandchild, Emery Morphew; father, Carl Lane (Jean) Morphew of New Castle; siblings, Kathleen (Mark) Montgomery of Tipton, Ashley Alan (Christa) Morphew of Portland and Heather (Greg) Jones of Spiceland.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene K. Morphew.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pat McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Bennett Cemetery, in Shelby County. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. Friday until time of services at the funeral home.
