Larry Cole

Larry Cole, 65, of Muncie, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 27, 1960, in New Castle, a son of the late Arlon and Thelma (Phipps) Cole.

An auto mechanic, Larry enjoyed working on cars and also worked for Henly Fabrications for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Cole of Muncie; a son, Larry A. (Nicole) Cole of Muncie, daughters, Trisha (Randy) Keith of Campbellsville, KY, Shirley Grace Cole of Muncie and Sarah Whitmire of Muncie; grandchildren, Avoryona Cole, Jayvein Cole, Corbin Borton, Aunalyssia Schreiber, Shyanne Schreiber, Kaidyn Smith, Ma’Hala Pointer, Tyler Cole, Tallison Sweat; sisters, Norma Newcomb, Arlene Scoonover, Marsha Debore, and Linda Gibson; brothers, Jack Cole, Kevin Cole, and Gary Cole; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded death by a granddaughter, Naleha Cole; six brothers, Jim, David, Danny, Donnie, Roger, and Fred Cole.

Graveside Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle with Rev. Steve Dugger officiating.
