Lillian R. Lowe, 85, of New Castle went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 18, 2026 at home while surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on November 7, 1940 in Albany, Kentucky to the late Lige and Naomi (Guffey) Davis.
Lilli shared a devoted marriage with the love of her life, Robert “Danny” Lowe, whom she wed on March 15, 1959, and who survives her today. Deeply rooted in her faith, she had been a dedicated member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in New Castle since 2006, where she was affectionately known for her joyful spirit and love of passing out candy to the children. Above all, Lilli cherished the moments she spent surrounded by her family, taking the greatest delight in the time she shared with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Danny R. Lowe, Jamie L. (Tim) Madison, Kecia L. (Herb) Hankee; grandchildren, Mical B. (Connie) Reynolds, Miranda B. (Patrick) Delaney, Ryan (Allison) Madison and Jaelyn Madison; great grandchildren, Malcolm Reynolds, Brock Delaney, Roman Delaney, Simon Madison and Rebecca Madison; siblings, Jerry (Brenda) Davis, Connie (Russ) Cheesman and Bonnie Roseberry and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a great grandson, William Reynolds and siblings, Edna Genevieve “Genny” Lowe, Donna Denny, Marie Moran, James, Joseph, Obie, Everett and Earnest Davis.
Services will be at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Donald Silvers officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Green Hills Memory Gardens.
