Lynda S. Stiffler

Lynda S. Stiffler, 63, of Dallas Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at her residence. She was born February 24, 1962 in Indianapolis to Elmer and Martha (Hudson) Furgason.

Lynda’s first career was that of a beautician, holding both a hairdresser cosmetology license. She then owned a realtor/mortgage company, an accomplishment she was very proud of. She was awarded Miss Indiana in 1983 and competed in Hawaii for the Miss USA Pageant.

Lynda loved life and enjoyed many hobbies including camping, wine and smooth jazz. She loved antique shopping and selling the items she purchased online. Yard sales was one of her favorite weekend adventures. Mostly she loved spending time with her family and her pets.

Those left to cherish Lynda’s memory are her son, Anthony Stiffler of Mooresville; brother, Wray Furgason of Sheridan and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents Lynda, was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Furgason.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
