Marianne Richey

Marianne Richey, 61, of Kennard passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born November 6, 1960 in Lawrenceville, Illinois a daughter of Tom and Grace (Cummins) Calvert.

Marianne grew up in Lawrenceville Indiana prior to moving to New Castle. She was employed at Eastern Indiana Federal Credit Union as a loan processor. A military spouse, she traveled the world with her husband, Mark. Marianne was affiliated with the Free Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her sons and grandchildren. Marianne enjoyed traveling, especially to New York City, the Covered Bridge Festivals and collecting Antique knick knacks. Marianne loved animals, especially her dog, Gus.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Mark Richey; three sons, Jason (Julie) Richey of St. Louis, Missouri, Joshua (Dana) Richey of Robinson, Illinois and Justin (Erica) Richey of New Castle; grandchildren, Ally, Taylor, Morgan, Brianna, Rachel, Ashton, Thomas, Finnegan and Keegan; a bonus grandson, Thomas Kruger of Indianapolis; her parents, Tom and Grace Calvert of Lawrenceville, Illinois; brothers, Joe Calvert of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Tom (Sheila) Calvert of Mesa, Arizona and James (Amie) Calvert of Lawrenceville, Illinois; sister, Cyndia Kramer of Hobart and several nieces & nephews.

Marianne was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Megan; sister-in-law, Shari Calvert and her grandparents.

Services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Todd Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
