Marjorie Ann Barnett

Marjorie Ann Barnett, 85, of New Castle, passed away January 13, 2026, at Henry Community Health. She was born January 31, 1940, in North Vernon, Indiana, daughter of the late Ott and Marie (Robinson) Stacy.

She had been a waitress at Bill’s Diner and also worked in Home Health Care.

She is survived by her children, Marlene Thompson of Mulberry, FL, Larry (Leslie) Mitchell of New Castle, Lucinda (Larry) Slaven of New Castle, and Candy (Garry) Stearns of New Castle, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebekah Lee; son in law, Richard Thompson, a brother, Arnold Stacy.
