Marlene A. Wells

Marlene A. Wells, 67, of Knightstown, passed away in her home on Saturday, September 20, 2025 following an extended illness. She was born August 30, 1958.

A 1976 graduate of Eastern Hancock High School, Marlene managed a daycare center in Indianapolis for several years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crafting, and truly enjoyed being a homemaker. She raised a grandson, Luke, from nearly the time he was born.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Jerry A. Wells of Knightstown; two sons, Brian Wells of Knightstown, and Aaron (Chelsie) Wells of Knightstown; grandchildren, Luke Wells, Emily (David) Tanksley, Brielle and Lexa Wells; two great grandchildren, Jessica and Juniper Tanksley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Eden.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m., Friday, September 26, 2025 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel with services beginning at 5:00 p.m. Pastor Tony Darling will officiate.
