Marquise Anthony Harris, 22, of Springport, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 6, 2003 in Bloomington, IN.
Marquise was a 2021 graduate of Yorktown High School. He was a bartender at Buffalo Wild Wings in Fishers.
Marquise was a very loving, sweet, caring and polite young man who often put others before himself. During many of his hospital stays, nurses would request to care for him on their shift as he was “their favorite” and “a joy” to care for. When entering his room, all the doctors would ask him how he was doing and he would reply, “Good, how are you?” No matter his circumstances, Marquise always had a positive attitude. Marquise brought happiness, joy and laughter to every person’s life he was a part of. Marquise had a natural gift of roller skating, skate boarding, mountain biking etc. He also enjoyed exercising and working out.
As a hospice worker was leaving the house, Marquise would tell them to “be safe.” This was the man the Marquise was.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Micah Castellon (Isaac Diaz) of Greenfield; grandparents, Scott and Norma Warnes of Springport, Ramiro Castellon; siblings, Jordon Cook of New Castle, and J’La Jackson of Greenfield; uncle, Matt Castellon and aunt Melissa; special cousins, Makayla Thompson, Tristan, Chris and Justice Castellon, Evan, Isaiah, and Ally; an several more. His dad, Billy (Desi) Harris, grandpa, Billy Harris of Muncie; brother, Dominic Harris; several aunts and uncles on his dad’s side.
Marquise had many close friends; Nick Ireland of Carmel, Heath Hammock, Tristan Tuck, Tristan Vicente, Gavin, Chase, Jess Robles, and co-worker; Monroe Central friends and many, many more.
