Martha "Marti" E. Bow

Martha “Marti” E. Bow, 78, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born February 18, 1937 in Tompkinsville, KY a daughter of Billy and Vassie (Sprowls) Anderson.

Marti was a florist at Hilltop Florist for many years and worked as the Food and Beverage Director at Holiday Inn East. She greatly enjoyed crocheting and making crafts.

She is survived by a daugther, Gena Tursi of Indianapolis; a son, Jack (Christiana) Bow of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Mandi (Mel) DeRolf, Zachary Tursi, and Alexis Bow; three great grandchildren, Candiace Tursi, Justin Wagner and Nickulas DeRolf; siblings, Jessie Apollos of Indianapolis, Betty (Loren) Arnold of Knightstown, David (Tena) Anderson of Cocoa, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Bailey.

Friends may call from 10 AM -12 PM Friday, October 30, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. The funeral service will be Friday at 12:30 PM at St. Rose Catholic Church in Knightstown with Deacon Russ Woodard officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
