Martin Day

Martin “Taco” Day, 58, of Middletown passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. He was born November 9, 1965 in Rushville a son of Jerry and Diana (Rhodes) Day Sr.

Martin worked most of his life in concrete and was very skilled in it. He was the life of the party and enjoyed making people laugh. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR and movies. He especially loved being with family and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Kasey Day and Ben (Olivia) Day; grandchildren, Cameron, Tyler, Maddie, Johnnie, J.J., Grayson, Elliott, Easton and Callie; siblings, Jerry Day Jr., Joe Day (Kathi Glover) and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Day.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Gene Bennett officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of service. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery at a later date.
