Mary Wynn Dalton

Mary Wynn Dalton, 86, was born January 27, 1939 in Cartwright, Clinton County, Kentucky. She passed away peacefully with family by her side, Monday, June 23, 2025 at Hancock Regional Hospital following a brief illness.

Mary Wynn was a homemaker that enjoyed the simple things in life. Watching cooking shows, reading the newspapers and magazines. She occasionally enjoyed scratching a lottery ticket and taking a trip to the casino. Mary really enjoyed spending time with her family and great-grand kids.

Mary is survived by her children, Rhonda Dalton, Jerry (Sue) Dalton and Rachel (Tim) Walters; grandchildren, Jeremy Dalton, Jaimie (Sheldon) Tinch, Jadon Walters and Gannon Walters; great grandchildren, Troy and Drake Dalton, Logan, Maverick and Cooper Tinch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn H. Dalton who she married June 20, 1960; her parents, Guy and Mary Lou Vitatoe; siblings, Glenna Koontz, Marty Smith, Johnny, Jerry and Randy Vitatoe.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Hancock Regional Hospital for their help and support during this very difficult time.

Services will be on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Jerry Ingalls officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. –2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition.
