Mildred Conyers

Mildred E. Conyers, age 82, of New Castle, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born March 13, 1926 in Owensville, Kentucky to the late Jesse and Rosa (Stull) Jackson.

She was a member of the Grand Ave. Baptist Church in New Castle. She enjoyed sewing and working crossword puzzles.

Survivors include three sons: Paul (wife: Joyce) Conyers of New Castle, Henry Clay Conyers of Muncie and Roger (wife: Joyce) Conyers of New Castle; grandsons: Brian (wife: Shelley) Conyers and Brandon (wife: Christina) Conyers all of New Castle; a granddaughter: Nicole Lynn Conyers; a sister: Grace Thomas of Morehead, KY; a nephew: John Paul (wife: Jo) Thomas of Morehead.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Henry Conyers, Sr.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2009 at Grand Ave. Baptist Church in New Castle with Reverends Charles Dugger and Tony Piper officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Summit Cemetery.
