Mildred Anita Kimball, 81, of Middletown passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the Waters of Middletown. She was born to Charles and Goldie Williams on March 27, 1945.
She was the youngest of ten children. On July 13, 1963, a few months after graduating from Middletown High school, she married her high school sweetheart, Marshall James Kimball. They raised two sons, Ken Allen and Kyle Eugene as they enjoyed thirty-nine years of marriage before Marshall passed in 2003.
Mildred loved serving her Lord and Savior in multiple ways. She helped care for her parents and several siblings as they approached the end of their lives. She was also involved in preparing meals for multiple church functions.
She is survived by her sons, Ken (Heather) Kimball of Leo, Indiana, Kyle (Kristy) Kimball of Middletown, Indiana; grandchildren, Jacob (Morgan) Kimball of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jason (Kelby) Kimball of Athens, Georgia, Micah (Julio) Rodriquez of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Hope Kimball of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jaclyn (Christian) Raish of Muncie, Indiana, Aaron, (Abby) Kimball of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Nathanial (Lauren) Kimball of Sulphur Springs, Indiana. She is also survived by two great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, of thirty-nine years Marshall James Kimball; nine siblings.
Services will be on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 11:00 am at Sulphur Springs Christian Church with Pastor CJ Buskirk officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery in Middletown. Visitation will be on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 5:00-8:00 pm at the church along with one hour prior to the services on Tuesday. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the church in Mildred's memory at Sulphur Springs Christian Church.
