Mona Grace Wilson, 87, of New Castle passed away Tuesday, October 06, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 28, 1939 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Vester and Grace (Roark) Wright.
Mona was a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to love, service, and devotion to her family. A 1958 graduate of Pulaski County High School, she married the love of her life, Doyle Max Wilson, on February 6, 1960. When she wasn't volunteering, Mona found joys in sewing, working on jigsaw and crossword puzzles, and playing Euchre with her card club. Above all hobbies and pastimes, family was everything to Mona. As a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family and her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of more than 66 years, Doyle Max Wilson; daughters, Robin (Tim) Pritchett, Kathy (Roger) Butler and Amy (Kent) Wallace; grandchildren, Hunter (Ashley) Butler, Zach (Claudia) Pritchett, Ross (Ashley) Kilgore, Jessica Stewart, Luke (Ashley) Pritchett, Drew (Katie) Stewart; Alex (Amber) Kilgore, Kamryn Wallace (Eric Main) and Clay Butler; great grandchildren, Emma Troxell, Naomi Kilgore, Abel Kilgore, Andrew Butler, Jack Stewart, Samuel Kilgore, Leyna Pritchett, Miles Stewart, Harvey Pritchett and Henry Tyson-Kilgore; a special niece, Sherry (Bob) Fisher; a special nephew, Rick (Kathy) Alderson and several other nieces and nephews.
