Myron Eugen Dock, 58, of New Castle passed away on December 15, 2025, at Methodist Hospital. He was born on December 10, 1967, in New Castle to the late Diana Dock.
Myron graduated from New Castle High School and lived in New Castle his whole life in town. He worked in the factory at Astemo Indiana in Greenfield. Myron was a lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan. He would listen to the radio when they played and enjoyed listening to them on talk radio station 700 WLW. Myron loved spending time with his family, most importantly with his son Andrew. He would spend his time off coaching Andrew’s youth baseball and umpire games. He was Andrew’s biggest fan and made sure he attended all his events. Myron loved helping people and at a young age he always wanted to become a police officer.
He is survived by his son, Andrew Dock; ex-wife, Kim Dock; cousin, Jennifer (Bruce) Boyd; along with many other friends and relatives.
In addition to his mother Myron is preceded in death by his aunt, Janet Martin; grandmother, Louise Dock and grandfather, Paul R. Dock.
Visitation will be on Saturday December 20, 2025, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. A Rosary Service will follow. You may share a memory or express a condolence for Myron at www.hinsey-brown.com.
