Her professional journey also included Ford Motor Company, the Knightstown American Legion, and working Security for various Indianapolis Sports and Entertainment venues. Above all, Nancy cherished her moments with family, making life-long memories and sharing her love for fishing. Nancy was a member of the Eastern Star in Spiceland, the Psi Iota Xi Sorority and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and commitment to service, forever remembered by those who had the honor of knowing her.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 63 years, Terry Mason; sons, Brian Mason and Brent (Tracy) Mason; grandchildren, Logan and Cale Hausman, Hank, Will, Ruby and Mary Mason; brothers, Barry and Mike Welsh and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Kelley Ann Mason; sisters, Patricia “Pat” Haynes and Donna Miller.

Please come celebrate the life of our mom and grandmother, Nancy Mason.

If you knew our mom, you knew she loved being around her people. She loved a full room, good food, great stories, and the kind of laughter that lasts a little too long. She truly lived life to its fullest — and that’s exactly how we’re going to honor her.

Join us on Sunday, March 8th from 3:00–7:00 PM at Northside Events & Social Club, 2100 E 71st St. Indianapolis, IN 46220

Stop by for a few minutes or stay the whole afternoon — whatever feels right. This won’t be formal. It will be warm. There will be food, drinks, hugs, and plenty of storytelling.

Bring your memories, bring your smile, and bring the stories she loved so much.

Let’s celebrate the woman who brought us all together — and who would absolutely want us doing exactly that.
