Nancy Kathryn Byrket O'Dell

Nancy Kathryn Byrket O’Dell, entered her heavenly home on July 1st at the age of 95. She was born on December 11, 1930, in New Lisbon, IN to the late Carl Dennis and Stella (Knox) Dennis.

Nancy was a born-again Christian who loved sharing her faith with others. She enjoyed spending winters in Florida near her son, Mike Byrket. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles. Nancy was an independent woman who was never afraid to speak her mind. Her sense of humor and spunkiness will be remembered and cherished.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Carol (Steve) Parker of Alexandria, Judi (Bob) Morris of Decatur, Ginny (Rick) McLain of Westfield and son, Tim (Amy) Byrket of Spiceland. Also, surviving are 13 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband’s, William Benton Byrket and Donald O’Dell; parents, Carl and Stella Dennis; sons, David Manis and Michael Byrket; brothers, Raymond Dennis and James Dennis; sisters, Marie Dennis, Pauline Macy and Elsie Brown.

Funeral services will be private for family only at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle on July 7th,2026. Burial will be at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle, IN. You may express condolences or share a memory of Nancy at www.hinsey-brown.com.
