Norma A. Smith, 93, of Knightstown passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021. She was born May 20, 1928 in Knightstown, the daughter of John and Nora (Reeder) Adams.
Norma worked as a bookkeeper for many years retiring from Draper in 1996 after 26 years of loyal service.
She is survived by a daughter, Pamela S. Bird of Brownsburg; two grandsons, Sean (Allyson) Bird of Carl Junction, MO and Chris (Courtney) Bird of Lebanon, IN; one granddaughter, Holly (Peter) Berg of Jamestown; several great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Smith; three brothers, Clyde, Kermin and Junior Adams; three sisters, Bessie Darlene, Pauline Walters and Monzella Seal.
Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, October 25, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231 or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 199 Water Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10038.
