Patsy Ann Conyers (née Farmer), age 74, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, at home in rural New Castle, Indiana.
Born on September 22, 1950, in New Castle to Woodrow "Tobe" Farmer and Thelma (Mundell) Farmer, Patsy was a proud graduate of Shenandoah High School, Class of 1968. She continued her education at Ball State University, Class of 1974, laying the foundation for a life marked by strength, creativity, and compassion.
Patsy shared her life with her devoted husband Rick. Together they built a loving family that includes their son Trent and his wife Tina, their daughter Amanda, and five cherished grandchildren: Cory Ann (fiancé: Clint), Gracie (Dylan), Keaton, Isaac, and Evelynn; great grandson: Owen. Patsy also held close bonds with several beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who were touched by her warmth and generosity.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Fran and Gene; and her sisters, Diane White and JoAnn Miller. A woman of many talents Patsy was an avid gardener whose hands brought beauty to every corner of her yard. Her artistic spirit shone through in her painting. A love of books-built a library of wisdom she shared with everyone. Family and friends were always welcomed in her home for holiday gatherings and celebrations.
Those who knew Patsy remember her as caring and kind—a strong and diligent presence whose influence will be felt for generations. Her laughter could light up a room; her love was unwavering; her legacy is enduring.
