Patsy Sipes

Patsy Sipes, 91, of Knightstown passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Glen Oaks Health Campus. She was born May 14, 1930 in Rushville the daughter of Harry and Lena (Huegel) Tumilty, Sr.

Patsy was a 1948 graduate of Mays High School. She worked at Danners and CVS for many years. Leroy and Patsy loved gardening and canning. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, crafting, reading and playing cards with the family. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandbabies.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Danny (Donna) Sipes, Kathy (Steve) Ferrell, and Mariann Beane (Mike Pike); grandchildren, Stephanie (Ben) Madison, Josh (Sandy) Sipes and Amber (Nick) Sweet; great grandchildren, Dawson Smith, Alexis Madison (fiancé, Broderick Angel), Cody (Marrisa) Madison; Cameron, Chase and Chloe Sweet, and Ethan Sipes; great grandchildren, Mason and Charlotte Madison; a sister, Vicki (Joe) Herrmann; a brother, Jerry (Jenny) Tumilty; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Sipes; three sisters and two brothers; son-in-law, Mike Beane.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Gary Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
