Robin A. Baugh, 77, of New Castle passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 at IU Health Ball Hospital following a brief illness. She was born October 31, 1947 in New Castle to the late Hershel and Rosanna (Poston) Higham.
Robin was a 1965 graduate of New Castle High School. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon. Robin was also a member of the New Castle Elks, and past president of the Lady Elks. She was an avid Bridge player achieving the status of Life Master. Robin loved to travel and loved to talked about her experience climbing Mt. Fuji. You couldn’t say “no” to Robin as she was very persuasive and precise in everything she did. She was very proud of all of her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. James M. Myers; sons, Stephen (Laura) Baugh and Greg (Dana) Baugh; step sons, Todd (Colleen) Myers, Timothy (Sarah) Myers; extended family, Michael (Patty) Broyles, David (Nicole) Broyles and Robin Broyles (Doug Dorn); grandchildren, Amanda Cherry, Stephanie Heisler, Bryant, Luke and Logan Baugh, Mica (Nick) White, Megan (Steven) Woods, Noah Broyles, Jake Myers, Maky (Alex) Chefalo, Ted and Charlotte Myers; numerous great grandchildren; a brother, Ed (Claudia) Higham and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Danny W. Baugh.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Katherine Rieder officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Deacon’s Fund, PO Box 491 New Castle, IN 47362.
