Roger Dennis Clark, 72, of Shirley passed away Monday, July 7, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 26, 1952 in New Castle, the son of Joseph Orborn and Ada Beatrice (Riley) Clark.

Roger worked at Fields Auto Parts for over 30 years, and also worked at Major Hospital in Shelbyville where he was head of housekeeping. He loved race cars and going to the race track at Mt. Lawn Speedway, Anderson Speedway and Indianapolis Speedrome. Roger enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, gardening, collecting antiques and was a really good story teller. He took pride in training his children with safety using firearms. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, North America Hunting Club and was an advocate for gun safety. Roger especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Roger is survived by children, Angela (Tracy) Gray, Roger Michael (Ella) Clark both of Shirley, Jason (Misty) Clark of Greensboro, Mindi (Steve) King of Pendleton, Matt (Tina) Lloyd and Andrew (Jessica) Lloyd of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Jaslyne Clark, Samantha Gray, Olivia Gray, Zack Clark, Wyatt Clark, Skylar Clark, Esteban King, James King, Wolfgang King, Kaelin Lloyd, Ashton Lloyd and Amelia Lloyd; sisters, Gloria Ann Thompson and Bernita Swank.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mona Gail Clark; a sister, Mary Jolene Wines; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his loving dog and companion, Teddy Graham.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, July 14, 2025 at Glen Cove Cemetery with Pastor Darrell Miller officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Memorial contribution may be made to the Roger Clark Memorial Fund, c/o of Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 7355 S State Road 109, Knightstown, IN 46148.
