Roger Keith Kenyon

Roger Keith Kenyon, 79, of New Palestine passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Ashford Place in Shelbyville. He was born April 7, 1947 in Randolph County, the son of Frank and Francis Idelle (Haney) Kenyon.

Roger was a 1965 graduate of Franklin Central High School. He was a man of God. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Roger found joy in woodworking, studying history of all the states, reading, writing poetry, playing guitar and singing with his sister. He enjoyed life to the fullest and especially like meeting people.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 55 years, Priscilla (Richey) Kenyon ; children, Travis (Sarah) Kenyon, Matthew (Jamie) Kenyon and Julie (Justin) Brown; grandchildren, Tyler Mitchell, Wyatt Kenyon, Halle Kenyon, Samuel Kenyon, Oliver Brown, Henry Brown and Natalie Kenyon; sister, Karen Cooper; two brothers, Ed (Bonnie) Kenyon and Rick (Karen) Kenyon.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, July 27, 2026 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Condolences and memories of Roger may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com.
