Royce King, 72, of New Castle passed away on Wednesday September 20, 2023, at Stonebrook in New Castle. He was born on October 27, 1950, in Marion County, Indiana to the late Kenneth and Doris (Estridge) King.
He was a 1969 graduate of Blue River High School. Royce retired from Allegheny in New Castle with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed traveling and camping with his grandson Conner and playing golf. Royce loved his dogs.
Royce is survived by his daughters, Traci Hyatt and Tawni (Aaron) McGee; grandchildren, Shelbi (Jacob) Brown, Grace Hyatt, Cole Wiley, Kaylyn Wiley and Conner Wiley; great grandchildren, Chevi Brown, Liam Brown, Jacob Boils and Joseph Boils.
In addition to his parents Royce is preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Lindsey.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Stonebrooke for the outstanding care and compassion they have given to Royce.
There will be no public services at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of your choosing.
