Sabra Inalee Neel, 84, of New Castle passed away on Wednesday May 13, 2026, at Stonebrook in New Castle. She was born on October 30, 1941, in New Castle to the late Jesse and Audie (Booher) Ewing.
A 1959 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School, Sabra enjoyed gardening, canning and crafting. In her earlier years she loved going roller skating and fishing.
Sabra is survived by her children, Tim (Debbie) Neel, Todd Neel and Julie (Dennis) Henderson; grandchildren, Jerry, Jon, Morgan, Megan, Kastin, Todd, Jared, Jessie and Zach; several great grandchildren; niece, Kristi Kay.
In addition to her parents Sabra is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry L. Neel; brothers, David and Bud Ewing.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday May 16, 2026, at Hicksite Cemetery. Visitation will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle prior to the graveside service. You may share a memory or express a condolence for Sabra at www.hinsey-brown.com.
