Steffie Julia Edwards, 96, of New Castle passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle. She was born February 16, 1925 in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Alerczyk) Staniorski.
A homemaker, she was a devout Christian. Steffie had lived at Raintree Square Apartments in New Castle for five years.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Edwards Cloud; grandson, Michael Dalka; great grandson, Harrison Dalka and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edwards; sons, Gary & Kenneth Edwards; and five brothers & sisters.
There will be no public services. Burial will take place in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolence or share a memory of Steffie at www.hinsey-brown.com .
