Tambra E. (Hamilton) Cleek Marcum, 48, of Knightstown died unexpectedly Saturday, January 17, 2009. She was born March 2, 1960 in Rushville, Indiana.
A 1978 graduate of Knightstown High School, she graduated from Michael’s Beauty Academy in New Castle. She was a hairdresser for over 25 years. She enjoyed gardening and working with flowers. A generous person, she was always willing to assist anyone in need.
She is survived by her daughter, Lindsay Cleek and her fiance, Mike Syrus, both of Indianapolis; two sisters, Tonya Stearns of Spiceland, Trudy (husband, Michael) Heller of Carthage; two brothers, Tony (wife, Terri) Hamilton of Knightstown and Timothy Hamilton of Knightstown; her father and stepmother, Donald and Elizabeth Hamilton of Unionville; her mother and stepfather, Faye and David Chandler of Shelbyville; several nieces and nephews; her companion, Terry Huseman of Knightstown.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Treva Hamilton and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Burial will take place in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2009. Memorial contributions may be given to the Tambra E.
