Thomas Brett Gregorio, 64, of Spiceland passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at IU Health Ball Hospital. He was born August 19, 1961 in Monterey, California to the late Thomas J. and Phyllis M. (Crowhorn) Gregorio.
Brett was a 1979 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School then joined the U.S. Air Force, serving until 1983. He was a Missile Mechanic and Minuteman missileman, starting in Florida and ending at Vanderburg Air Force Base in California. Brett was also stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. For over 30 years, he owned and operated his own plumbing business, Brett’s Plumbing. Brett enjoyed wood working and making cabinets. He was a loving husband and father and will be missed for his kind and personable nature.
He is survived by his wife, Susan K. Gregorio; a daughter, Cheyenne (Dustin) Baker; grandchildren, Emma, McKenna, Olivia and Peyton; sisters, Pamela Decker and Lisa Patterson; step-sons, Jason (Tasha) Carnes, Devan (Dani) Carnes and Blake Carnes; step-grandchildren, Lexie, Jason Jr. and Lena Carnes; a special aunt, Alice Morrison, a special friend, Sharon Keesling; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an uncle, Jim Morrison and cousin, Jimmy Morrison.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Jerry Ingalls officiating. Burial will follow at Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Military honors will be conducted by contingents from the U.S. Air Force and Knightstown American Legion.
