Vicki Pugh

Vicki Pugh, 68, of Knightstown, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at IU Health Methodist Hospital. She was born February 25, 1954 in New Castle, the daughter of William Thomas Pugh and Patricia Ann (Elliott) McCracken.

Vicki was a 1974 graduate of Knightstown High School and a member of Girls Athletic Association where she played basketball, softball and ran track. She also played ladies softball in her adult years. Vicki enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. She was a NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhardt, and also a fan of IU Basketball. Vicki was big on family, had a big heart and would help anyone. She cherished spending time with her great-great niece, Emilee Grace. She loved her coworkers at Tsuda in Mt. Comfort and had previously worked many years at Detroit Steel and Pelican in Greenfield.

She is survived by her father, William Thomas Pugh; siblings, William (Constance) Pugh, Scott Pugh, Judy (Melvin) Manning and Lisa (Bill) Hubbard; nieces and nephews, Eric (Robin) Magee, Dionne (Aaron) Ray, Addison Pugh, Hallie Conners, Garret Ray, Emilee Taulbee, Shane (Danielle) Benjamin, Sean Benjamin, Vinson Benjamin, along with many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia McCracken; step father, William McCracken; and aunt, Lucille Rigney.

A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in McCray Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 until time of service. Condolences and memories of Vicki may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
