Virginia Lee Logan

Virginia Lee Logan, 74, of Upland and formerly of New Castle passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at University Nursing Center in Upland, Indiana. She was born February 2, 1951 in New Castle to the late Perry L. and Mary E. (Cooney) Blake.

She spent over 30 years working for Mr. Steve’s and Myers Rent to Own. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and beloved dog, Roscoe.

She is survived by her son, Chad E. (wife, Wendy L.) Humes; grandson, Jarred A. Humes (fiancé, Geneice McCullough); siblings, Michael (wife, Donna) Blake, Stephen (wife, Teresa) Blake and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Carson Eugene Humes Jr.; brother, Ronald Blake and her loving dog, Roscoe.
