Wayne Voiles

Wayne Voiles, 63 of New Castle passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at his home. He was born October 21, 1957 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of the late Joseph and Ruby H. (Wilkinson) Voiles.

Wayne served in the Army National Guard from 1976-1986. He was a graduate of Ivy Tech in Muncie and a welder by trade. Wayne retired form Metaldyne in New Castle and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. On a sunny day, you could find Wayne near a fishing pond or lake or at the gun range. Wayne loved his family very much!

Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Desirea “Nikki” Voiles; son, Wayne Voiles, Jr.; grandchildren, Makalya Abrell, Diamond Voiles, Kiana Voiles, Tinzleigh Williams and Draya Williams; two brothers, Wendell (Janie) Voiles and Danny Voiles; three sisters, Susan Saylor, Ruby Blackburn (companion, Tracy Moistner) and Penny (Bill) Gray; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a lifelong friend, Tom Shaver.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Bolinger and Brenda Voiles; and a brother James “Bucky” Voiles.

Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
