Willard Workman

Willard Workman, age 83, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the Woodlands Nursing Home in Muncie. He was born May 19, 1925 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Lonzie and Georgia (Hampton) Workman.
Willard was employed as a mechanic for 28 years in Kentucky before moving to Indiana where he then went to work as a farmhand. He married the love of his life, Vina Conley in 1949 and did everything together.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years: Vina (Conley) Workman; three brothers: Donald (wife: Connie) Workman of Blountsville, Ervin (wife: Jesse) Workman of Stringtown, KY and Winford (wife: Margaret) Workman of Salyersville, KY; two sisters: Riva Mounts of Salyersville, KY and Anna Sue Workman of Salyersville, KY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Dick Webster officiating. Burial will follow in Blountsville Cemetery.
