  • Grief Support Workshop

    As an extension of our Aftercare Program, Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service is offering a Grief Support Workshop to families who have lost a loved one. Grief is a journey that should not be traveled alone, therefore we invite you to come share with us and reflect upon the love you once shared with someone special. The purpose of these meetings is to provide you with hope as you travel your journey through grief. The workshop will be held at Senior Living at Forest Ridge located at 2800 Forest Ridge Parkway in New Castle. The group will meet each Tuesday starting February 17, 2015 through March 24, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. Wanda Jones will facilitate the meetings which are free and open to the public.   • 16th annual Palm Sunday Memorial Balloon Release
    Sunday, March 29, 2015

    Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service of New Castle and Knightstown would like to invite your family to our 16th annual Palm Sunday Memorial Balloon Release. This year it will be held at the New Castle Chapel on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Each person will receive a balloon on which to write the name of their loved one(s), and a personal message. After a brief ceremony, the balloons will be released creating a special moment of tribute for all. We will also have an Eastern Redbud seedling for you to plant in memory of your loved one.
