Annitta "Jane" Terry

Annitta “Jane” Terry, 52 of New Castle passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. She was born April 25, 1972 in New Castle to the late Charles and Shirley (Baney) Overton.

Jane was employed at McSherr Inc. for over 30 years as a direct support professional. A collector of gnomes, she loved her chihuahua’s, Meme and Ivory. 

Survivors include 2 daughters, Jennifer Terry and Allison Terry, both of New Castle; sister, Elizabeth (David) Choate of Mooreland; nieces and nephews, David Ray, Ashley, Harlen and Justin Choate; former husband, Jerry Terry; several great nieces and nephews; grandfather of Allison and Jennifer, Randall Godfrey; special friend, Miss Lou.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Rigney.

Services will be held Friday, May 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Brad Hacker officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at 11550 North Meridian Street, Suite 150 Carmel, Indiana 46032.
